Even at my thinnest... right before my wedding.. I was 123-125lbs. My stomach was still not flat.. and it has always been a bit flabby. I am 5'2 and currently 142 (post baby)...

Anyone else out there that was able to achieve a flat tummy after a lifetime of thinking it was just not in their genes? I don't need a 6 pack.. just want no gut! :)

Just looking for some inspiration and motivation!

I am interested in this also. I know it has to do with your food intake mostly.

I can't say I've ever had a flat tummy either. Even as a teenager I always have some belly fat. However, with the exercises I've been doing (Bootcamp cardio and then Pilates body sculpting) my stomach has been getting smaller. You also have to watch what you eat. Try to limit yourself to only having really fatty foods maybe once a week (twice if you've done more exercises than normal). That has worked for me. My stomach still isn't flat, but it's getting there. Everyone is different, though, so what works for me may not work as well for you. It really all depends on your body. :)

I never had a flat tummy and unless I have surgery it is not going to happen. I know I can tone some more ,but with this kind of weight loss and my age (55) I am just happy to be fit and healthy

    I’m 5’4” maybe a buck-fifteen & have some wiggle in the middle. I’m a runner, do P90X & have rock hard abs too. Don’t worry about it…, you’re fine.

5'1" and 115 lbs --- not super excited about my abs either. Seems to be the last place to lose the fat, for me.

I have never been smaller then 150 (once saw 145 for a brief time at 17 years old). I am also 5'2" and never had a flat tummy. I had a c-sec so I doubt I'll ever have a perfectly flat tummy but I am def at my thinnest and lightest and I'd like to think my stomach is about at it's flattest :)

I had a c-section too! So I know it will make it that much more difficult!
