Canadian Chick

Getting rid of the biker boyfriend that had me drinking beer every other night was my best move so far, lol. I love to work out, forgot how good it felt to be stiff & sore but I would love to have some friends to talk about it with. Share our goals, highs, lows....getting my mind on something more positive. Anyone else here that is changing their life for the better? I would love to hear your story.

I'm also a 40+ Canadian chick. I started down this path on doctor's orders or he said my knees would never last. I'm here now though and committed. Add my if you want a friend to share the road.0

Hello!
Yes you can add people to a friend list. It's similar to Facebook. You can post status updates and there is a newsfeed of people's exercise and when they loose weight. It's nice to put in you lost .5lb and all your friends congratulate you. It makes me feel better anyway! I know people here understand how hard I had to work for that small weight change.
Anyway, I live in Canada too. I just moved here in the summer of 2010 after graduating university and decided I was tired of being overweight and unhealthy! Congrats on joining MFP, it's been a great help to me. And feel free to add me as well.0
