I was on here earlier but stopped trying for a while, now I'm back at it and trying to stick to the calories and keep exercising.
I'm trying to get fit and healthy and using exercise to improve my mood. At the moment I'm going for long walks but might try to add in some jogging soon.
Please give me some tips to curb my chocolate addiction!!! and to stay focused.

Welcome back Blackpup. I have also just rejoined after a long break where I tried every other way to get myself healthy known to man! Joined various slimming clubs with little effect. Counting clearly works for me so I am back anbd ready to stick to it.
I always find that if I enter my snacks (chocolate, crisps...) onto MFP before I eat them I often reconsider when I see how many calories I have left for the day.
That being said, I don't deny myself every time otherwise I would end up binging at some point. Maybe you could try adding them before eating them and see how that works for you?
Good luck

Thanks, that's a good idea. I also try to add my dinner in before dinner so that I don't eat all my calories as snacks...
Good luck with your counting - I hope you reach your goal.
I've found that counting works better than any other method too, shame its such a pain in the neck....0 -
Yes, it is a pain. I have been on maintenance since March. Don't know what else to do. If I don't make this part of my lifestyle, I just gain it back. It is too much work to get it off in the first place, to do this all over again. Wish i had a food scale in my head that tells me how much I'm eating, lol, Good luck to you. Anyone can add me if they are serious & really want to give & receive support. We can do this. BTW, I find trail mix w/ chocolate chips or peanuit m&m's keep my chocolater addiction at bay.0

thanks marekdds
congrats on your weight loss!!!!
it must be hard to keep up the counting without the positive feedback of losing weight.
Thanks for the chocolate tip.0 -
I would highly recommend some protein whey powder. I use Protech by the Vitamin Shoppe. I'm not trying to bulk up or anything, just trying to eat healthier. I use the Chocolate Mint and it has 0 grams of sugar in it. So you're getting the great chocolate taste without the crap you don't need. You can mix them with water or milk. You can put ice in them or even make Popsicles out of them.0
