food portion control

I am only just starting to get the hang of this ....finally it's working for me my meals look good I am making healthy choices yes I do sometimes have a treat but I am not eating chocolate everyday ..not in a while actually , but I am finding that I am not getting all my calories in , sometimes and I do know this will be a issue if not careful I still have around 14lbs to lose and tone up I really want to make sure I am doing it the right way..any positive constructive criticism greatly received .

    Honestly, better meal planning... so long as you get in a healthy variety, stay well hydrated... Dont be afraid to eat more if your exercises are resulting some serious caloric burns.

    I found for me that if I were to have 4-5 small meals per day, Im actually more stabilized and I can always get my daily calories in much better than three squares...

    I'm not quite sure what you're asking but its important to hit your macros everyday. If reaching your calorie count everyday becomes an issue, buy a can of nuts and eat a handful. They are full of healthy fats and packs a good calorie punch. Also, with so little left to lose, you should probably be shooting for .5 pounds a week and work on getting your nutrients and exercise in. Its slow and steady that wins the race.

    sound adivce Thank you , I did mean nosey though the diary and see what I eat but some people do go ott when they do , my last years diary is very different to this year and restarting etc but last year I was training for 100k walk , now I am just wanting to be the right size for a healthy me ... :wink:
