Desperate to Feel Good Again

Hi all,
I just started this thing and I need all of the support I can get. I actually have a small frame with a LOT of weight on it. I started a jump start program this week and am hoping with that and the support here, I can meet my goals.
Most of my weight gain is from stress, I think, and the stress of being overweight is creating a vicious cycle.
I went to a clinic (I got week's worth of food there to get me started) and got all of my initial stats done. I am at 38% body fat. Not cool....
Cheer me on, I'm gonna need it.

Thank you! I'm a single mom raising two young kiddos with severe emotional issues and I'm hanging on by a thread. I adopted them not knowing the extent of their issues and the stress is seeping into my weight.
My goal is to lose 45 pounds. I need to start taking better care of myself so that I can be a better resource for them.
I love seeing the success stories on here. It gives me hope!!0 -
good luck, feel free to add me0

Hey..the longest journey starts with the first step. Relax, be patient, you didn't put the weigh on all at once and it will take time to to get it off.
Use your desire to feel better as motivation. Soon you will feel better and feel better with each and every month that passes.
Again relax, my experience has taught me that weight loss is just a simple math problem performed over a long period of time.
Sounds like you have to food taken care of by a professional, get as much exercise as is appropriate for you, knowing that as you get into better shape you will be able to increase the amount and intensity of it in the future.0 -
Ok. Thanks for all of the support. What a great feeling!
Someone suggested that I make my food diary public for accountability and although I'm a little nervous about the exposure, here it goes...
Anyway, gonna take my little monkeys for a walk.
Thanks again!0
