Mac and cheese all the way! Or really any tasty pasta dish...I have a pasta problem!

Mac and cheese....Mmmm... By far my favorite! I have made a healthy version with whole wheat pasta and less cheese, NOT the same!

I make a concoction that my mother always made us - sort of a version of Hamburger Helper...

    No yolk dumpling noodles
    Brown mushroom gravy
    ground turkey or lean beef
    peas - frozen are best

mix it altogether with pepper and a little salt and enjoy...

I NEED this dish once a month - wink wink....or on particularly stressful days.

Campbell's Chunky Sirloin Burger soup. That and sandwiches made with paper-thin sliced deli meat (the kind that comes pre-packaged) and white bread. Whenever I was sick as a child and stayed home from school with my grandmother, that's what I got for lunch.

Now it's anything southern. Fried chicken, cornbread, fried okra (if it's done right), mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, collard greens, pinto beans, homemade macaroni and cheese, etc.

I always liked tomato soup with saltines and grilled cheese

OMG, I love it. My grandmother fed me this all the time as a kid, and I love it to this day. So good.

I second that... now I'm hungry for soup n' grilled cheese!

Hmm...probably oatmeal or a pb&j. No matter how crummy I feel, whether physically or emotionally, those are always appetizing.

Hey Sonbyrd! Maybe we were twins separated at birth!

ah you guys are killing me! I'm so hungry and so close to dinner but now it seems so far away.
My fav foods that I haven't touched in forever are:
Nutella, I could eat it by the spoonful nevermind putting it on toast
    Froot Loops
    Anything pasta
OMG how could I forget CHEESE. The curds from St. Albert's ON are amazing, we have them flown in.
    Love and dearly miss pizza
    my mom's famous popcorn
    I could go on....
None of these items are in my house for my personaly sanity so I"ve had to find some less interesting replacement comfort foods.
But my pants are getting lose so who am I to complain.
Help I want to drive by a pizza place on the way home.
