I have my ups and downs like everyone else but I love it when I realize my NSV. Tonight was a very stressful night at work. I had 30 min to change basically everything at work. I got to tick off 90% of my customers because of my management poor communtication skills so needless to say I was very stressed and VERY angry!!! :explode:  One of my big problems is I am an emotional eater. Sad, mad, upset, lonely, depressed......you get the idea. McDonald's is on the corner of my jobs parking lot, very easy acsess so as I'm leaving I keep thinking "screw it I'm gonna go and get a burger and fries and the biggest soda they have" and then I stopped. I've only been back on my "diet" "lifestyle change" whatever you want to call it for a week now and thought "I've done so good so far" usually this first month is the worse but I've done so well. Back and forth I go just do it, don't do it. I walk to my car and see there is no line at the drive through, quick and easy who would know. Well I would know and I'm working on not lying to myself so to get that and not log it would be lying to myself. "If you don't stop your gonna be hungry when you get home and mad that you didn't stop" There are things at home I can eat, so I drive on pass McDonald's and don't stop. That was the first part. In my car I'm singing to the radio and it goes to a commercial and my mind wonders and I start to pray and by the time I got home I'm still upset but letting it go and still kinda hungry so instead of going to my fridge and standing for an hour and then pigging out on something I don't really want I got out my tea and cereal bar that I already had counted into my day and ate and drank that. That was my second NSV. While they are kinda the same they aren't to me and they are huge for me If you knew me you would know. So what could have been a disaster wasn't and I still finish my day with 130 calories to spare. I really do love these things!

Awesome job! I know just how hard it is to resist those urges. After nearly a year, I'm still working on it myself!0
