Any Third Shifters out there?

Hey all:
I was just looking to see if there are any other 3rd shifters out there and how their journey is going. I am a nurse and it seems that if it is slow I just want to sit and snack. I have been bringing healthy snacks but they might have more calories (aka grapes have a lot of calories), and then I burn through a lot of my daily calories. I was just wondering what motivates and helps to not snack as much and how you get enough quality sleep. 3rd shifters have a lot going against us in this goal to lose wt! I have been trying to be motivated!

I'm a 3rd shifter. I work part time as a receptionist at a nurse triage line so I know your pain. I started my journey mid may and am down 25 pounds but I am having a struggle as well. There are days I get off at 7am, go home go to bed for a while and also sleep that night (i'm then off for 3 nights) so struggle to eat enough on many days. I also haven't been working out so I can't complain too much as I have lost a good amount, I'm just not "reshaping" my body. Sure my pants are looser but my stomach is still the same. I try to bring healthy stuff to snack on at work and a good lunch/dinner.

I also work nights (12 hour shifts). Its hard because our schedules flip back and forth and mealtimes arent consistent. I now always take my lunch to work, I dont even want to be tempted by something in the cafeteria. Besides, considering it is a hospital and should be healthy I swear it is fried, carb heaven down there! I usually pack a few healthy snacks in my bag also for those munchie attacks.
