Has anyone tried Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred? I just bought it to add to the ab and lower body videos I have been using in additiong to running/biking/skating, etc. It totally kicked my butt in the 20 minutes of Level 1... whew! But I was just wondering if anyone else had tried it and seen results from it. Or if there's any other good workout videos you like, please share!

I've been doing it for maybe 2 months now. I only get to it about once a week so I'm still on level 1 but I think I've turned the corner on it - I can now do the entire thing and I don't have to stop!! Yea me!! Anyway, I don't know about "results" as far as attributing my weight loss to this workout but I must be making cardio and strength progress if I can do it all and not stop although I'm laying there gasping after that final ab work.
I am also running, cycling, and hiking so I think the whole combo of work has helped. I know that without the exercise I wouldn't be losing weight. My goal is try level 2 after another couple of weeks.

Pretty much all of my exercise is through workout videos. I love them!! A good website for shopping is collagevideo.com. They are good because you can view clips of the workouts, read reviews, and send them back if you don't like them. My personal faves are: 30 minutes to Fitness Cardio Blast (Kelly Coffey-Meyer), The Firm Dangerous Curves Ahead (cardio express workout is the only one on this disc I like), The Firm the 500 Calorie Workout, and All Cardio Hi-Low Knockout (Amy Bento, I still can't get all the way through this one!) Oh, I also like Cathe Freidrich (sp?) High Intensity Interval Training (this one is plyometrics - ouch!). Keep up the good work!!! No I haven't tried the 30 day shred but maybe I will now!0

Yes, I have it. I do it once in a while but it is my own version. I am a little on the uncoordinated side! I enjoyed pulling out some of my old vhs videos. I have been doing tae bo and walk away the pounds, 3 mile. I seem to be coordinated enough to do those! I also really enjoy my Slimn6 series. I do the Ramp it Up. I can't get on my knees to do the leg lifts so I do them standing up. It's all good! Hope this helps! :flowerforyou:0

How do you add the 30 Day Shred video to your workouts?0

I have now done 30 day Shred. I do like it but I am a more advanced exerciser now than I was last time I posted, so I usually prefer a longer workout. 30 Day Shred is good for days when I'm short on time. Good mix of core, cardio, and weights. Don't be afraid to go fairly heavy with your weights. You'll see results quickly.0

I am halfway through. Check out my new thread in Success Stories, "Can't stop Bikini Shopping" it's called. There is also 4-thread long 30 Day Shred results on here, search it.0
