1980 - graduated high school, weight about 130. A doctor told me I had gained too much weight in the last two years and if I continued at that rate I would "waddle down the aisle for my wedding." Later I learned that that was a stupid comment- weight gain in adolescence is normal and expected. I was and remain about 5'8 1/2" so 125 was still pretty thin!
1983 - mid-college, age 21, weight 135 and constantly dieting. Body fat per cent 28 by underwater weighing- I worked in a nutrition lab part time.
1986 mid-medical school, age 24, weight still roughly 135, still dieting.
1993- middle of surgical residency. Weight 182. That was my highest weight ever.
    2004 - in practice, age 42, weight 158.
2005 December- between jobs- highest recent weight of 178 spurred me to current journey. I was 43.

    January 2006- started diet.
Easter (April 2006) down to 150, which was my first goal but I reset the goal for 140.
June 2006- 44th birthday- down to 140. Everyone said I was too thin.
Dec 2006- moved to Nicaragua, weight 139. Reset goal weight to 145.
By fall of 2008 I was back up t0 155, started working out. Lost weight, didn't gain muscle. Up and down around 140-145 for about 3 years. Started MFP Oct 2010.
    Started lifting weights Dec 2011.

Just turned 50- current weight 134, body fat per cent just at 25%, did my first ever in my life push ups on my 50th birthday last month.

    2001-2008 (high school/college): Stayed 135 lbs.
2011 (finished grad school): Gained about 1/2 lbs a month for three years. 155 lbs. May have gotten high afterwards.
