Wondering if anyone has a magic formula for the calorie burn you can attribute to each Tabata session?
Many thanks

no such thing. It's an anaerobic mechanism, the only hard rule is, the more intense you are able to do it, the greater the calorie burn, regardless of heart rate..0

The magic formula is to get yourself hooked up to one of those machines that measure what you breath in and out and from that figure out the calories you burned. Beyond that, I just use what my HRM says and figure that will do, or I skip MFP's way of doing calories completely and figure out my average daily calories including exercise for the week and take 15-20% off that and eat that every day. Then I don't have to worry about the specific calories burned in an exercise, just the total amount of exercise I do.0
