How to lose weight if sick?

Ok so I started on my new healthy way of living on saturday and I usually walk/jog/run for about an hour. Well this weekend I have caught the flu and it's gotten to the point were I can't get out of bed. I did however walk for 40 mins today as I had a job interview, but I don't know how to lose weight if I can't get out of bed.

Last time I was bedridden for a couple of weeks, I gained 5 pounds.

I can't eat, I have consumed about 700 calories today by forcing myself to eat. And I'm afraid I might put weight back on. Do you have any helpful advice how I can still be healthy and lose weight if I can't get out of bed?

If you're sick -- focus on helping your body heal itself before putting additional rpressure on it to lose weight! Try not to focus too hard on yourself until you're feeling 100% again.

That being said, make sure you're drinking TONS of water. That'll help flush everything and keep you hydrated. I'd also recommend trying to eat cleanly -- no junk food!

    Feel better soon!

I wouldn't worry about losing weight while sick.
Eat healthy foods, drink plenty of fluids, and rest so your body can get better.

    the flu won't last forever
