Hey, all! Those who are on this fitness journey (maybe more towards the beginning), are you having issues with decreased libido?? It seems like the further along I go, the less I want to be sexually intimate with my husband!! Anyone else have this problem? Is it just temporary, or is there maybe something I'm missing? HELP!

I felt really fat and unattractive my first couple of weeks doing this because counting calories and whatnot really drove the point home mentally that I wasn't where I wanted to be - something I was not as aware of when I just ate whenever I wanted.
However, for most people, when they start to see results the sex drive comes back and it's stronger than before.0 -
I've been in the same boat.
Hoping it comes back sooner than later!0 -
Between, emotional and the fact that sex hormones break down in fat... it isn't unheard of.0

You recently started so don't worry about it much. Soon you will be feeling like a teenager again and would always be in mood (saying from experience). Give it some time0

Maybe you're low on energy, is your daily calorie allocation much lower than you would usually take in? Also if you are getting into exercising a lot then perhaps you're just too tired? I think these things are transient and hopefully its just a phase in the beginning. Maybe your body is adjusting to this new journey and you'll feel much much better about this real soon. Good luck!0

Anyone, have decreased libido from exercising?1

I believe mine is due to I don't feel/look the way I want. Therefore I don't want him to see my body this way. I have gained 15 or so since we started dating and can't get it off. I believe once I start seeing results it will kick back up again.0

I have been going though this myself and I think it involves a bunch of different little variables equaling a drop in sexual activity. The emotional ties that come along with this journey... You discover things about yourself, your body is changing, your going through some physical changes which I'm sure is changing up the chemical balance even if just for a bit. For me at least, I feel engulfed in this new adventure of life changes. I sometimes feel drained as it is mentally and physically and now I've added a diet change and intensive workouts.. I'm noticing it slightly coming back though, and I'm noticing we are not the only ones so for the most part it seems pretty normal.0
