Keep working hard honey, next week you will probably lose 2 pounds! The body is funny like that! Be proud of the weight you have lost so far it's a huge accomplishment !0

Dont be....I have been stuck at 136 for about a month and a half...just keep on it.
I feel you girl, I have been at 137 for 2.5 months~0 -
Don't be discouraged - I stuck for ages at one weight - then I started measuring my waist. Despite not loosing weight I was loosing cms.0

go onto youtube and look up a video " m100" i do this everyday and good god it works, and only takes 2 mins,,,,,,mixing up ur cardio is key0
-
keep going.. I lose a lot at one time and then none for a while. It will happen just stick with it cause when it does it feels great! If it was easy everyone would be at a healthy weight!!0

You guys are all so motivational thank you, I love the community this site has!0

The same thing happened to me about a month ago. I just changed my workout and added another 20 minutes to my workout and lost 5 pounds the following week!! Change it up a bit Good luck!0

Have you taken measurements? Just because you haven't lost pounds doesn't mean you haven't lost anything, you may have lost inches. Thats why it is important to take measurements. Don't be discouraged, just keep sticking with your plan and it will come off :-)0
-
If you haven't done so already - weigh / measure everything for a bit to do a level set. I found out that a 'handful' of cheese wasn't even close to a 1/4 (it was way over).
That being said, you might not loose every week - track other things too, such as do your clothes feel looser ?
Congrats on your progress thus far !0 -
I started taking measurements a month into logging my food, I lost .5 inches from my neck (of all places, now it's 12.5 inches). For my hips, it went down from 39 to 38, and my waist from 32 to 30. I'd like to get my waist down to 27, need to get rid of these chub rollsss initially, the only reason I exercise is because boy meets world reruns are on, and my treadmill has a tv so it doesn't feel like I'm exercising haha. I tried a dancing with the stars video last Thursday, and my left thigh is still sore
Has anyone experienced insanity?0 -

.....not eating back exercise calories......:drinker:
Eat them.
MFP suggests a daily net calorie intake to result in 1 lb of weight loss per week.
1 pound equals 3500 calories.
3500 divided by 7 days equals 500 calories per day. Our MFP daily number already has that 500 calories subtracted.
When we exercise, that green number goes up, because MFP expects us to eat back your exercise calories to keep your net daily calorie intake steady; that's how MFP works. Read this to learn more.

Just follow the MFP recommendations for healthy, steady and lasting results.
You could reduce quicker, but what would be the quality of that weight loss?
It could lead to increased muscle loss, and that stifles metabolism.
No, eat right, exercise - both cardio and resistance, lose weight in such a way that maintains health and preserves lean body mass which burns more calories at rest.
Good luck to you.:flowerforyou:

I rebounded really hard from 112 in DEC to 135 at the end of Jan.
Yup 135.
Back in June I was 156 after baby...by end of August I was down to the 120's. By September i was 112.
It seemed easier to get from 156 to 112.
Well, I had alot of issues back during that time(emotional, stress...etc.)
And I jumped to 135. I started trying to lose the weight in Jan. I didn't lose a darn pound until MAY. If I would have given up and not kept going, I'd probably still be 135 or more. But instead I just tried to do my workouts, tried to eat as well as I could and come May my body decided to just start losing the weight.
Since May I have been dropping lbs every week. I am now 119.
Don't give up.0 -
don't pay too much attention to the scale. it's not the bigger picture. if it helps though, try calorie cycling (or zig zagging, same thing). I did this for a month and lose three pounds after I hit a major plateau and looked super toned. I'm also very close to my weight loss goal so that might be why it doesn't sound like a lot (the closer you get, the harder it is).
good luck!0 -
Measure Progress not pounds.
Measure Resistance, persistence, optimism & the fact that you are on track.
Drink water, workout ( strength )
& KEEP MOVING!!!
OK??
DID YOU HEAR ME??
