At first my fiancé was ok but think he thought I was just going to quit on my own. He knows my issues with chocolate yet he doesn't eat it but has dellberately starting buying multi packs of my fav chocolate! I don't know why he is doing this when he knows how hard it is for me!

Ask him point blank what the deal is. Im sure you can pull it out of him - in most cases its an insecurity issues (thinking you will drop weight and run off with another man). He may just need some reassurance.... or a smack upside the head - you decide0

Can you not just use the fact that the chocolate is there and you don't need it as a way of showing your power?0

To make a point...Toss it in the garbage in front of him. Then maybe he won't waste his money in the future.0

Does it not show more power if you just ignore it. He wants a reaction don't give it to him. Infact that is your motivation to succeed0 -

Sounds like he's getting nervous that once you lose the weight, you may leave him. This is such a common thing! You need to tell/reassure him that your relationship means more than being thin. If it doesn't get better, you may have a bigger problem on your hands. If your own parner can't support you, and instead sabotages your desires, this is a warning sign. However if this is just a little jokey joke, just talk to him and let him know you're true feelings and that this is real and you need his support.
Good luck,

Well, it's going to be in the store when you go there. Just don't eat it. I buy brown sugar Pop Tarts for my kids and do you know what kind of temptation that is for me? At least it was till I saw that it was 240 calories.... per single Pop Tart or 480 per pack. Problem solved.
If you feel tempted then add the calories to your diary and see if you still want it. If you do then you're still under goal but chances are that you'll see how many calories it wastes and change your mind.0 -
I've asked him if he's worried about me changing and leaving him but he says it isn't that. I dont get it because I lost weight when we first met and was slimmer than I am now and he didn't mind? I guess that time I didn't go on an obvious diet though so he wasn't aware I was actively trying to lose.
I have tried to ignore them, sometimes I can other times I fail. It's tough.0 -
Sometimes men bring home food and snacks as a way to make you happy, to do something for you. Sure, you may not want it but he thinks "I'll cheer her up by bringing her some of her favourite chocolate to have as a treat" ... I doubt he's thinking "She;s getting too thin and is going to leave me for someone else so I'm going to try and make her fat again"
Don't eat it. Eat a little when you have the space in your macros for it. This is a lifestyle change and doesn't mean you can't have that stuff ever again. Portion it out into single portions and pop it in the freezer. Willpower will allow you to not eat it.0
