SUPER EASY Smoothie
I don't know if this has been posted before, and quite frankly I'm too lazy to look:blushing:
This is what I eat alot for breakfast, after I run, I typically don't eat before I run. I had one tonite after dinner for dessert, and my belly is so full, just call me Al Bundy.
Anyway here it is, it makes alot, probably 2 regular sized glasses and I drink it all.
1 banana
1-2 cups fresh strawberries
1 container vanilla yogurt( I use the Cascade Farms lowfat kind)
A dash or two of vanilla yogurt
Ice
Put banana and berries in blender, puree . Add yogurt, blend. Add ice a little at a time while blending until it is a "icy/smoothie" consistency. Pour in a very large cup and drink and enjoy.
I guess you could experiment with different fruits etc, I just always seem to use these. And let me tell you again, my belly is very full, sloshy full:bigsmile: :blushing: :laugh:

*slurp* i just finished my own version a few minutes ago! lol
didn't have enough cals left for the banana though, so had one cup dannon light and fit yogurt with 5 large strawberries! yum!0 -
Awesome, was inspired to ride to Fresh & Easy just to get some strawberries for said drink! Thanks! By the way, I found it made 3 cups exactly for me.0

Ok it should be a dash or to of vanilla extract, not yogurt, I guess I was too full to catch the typo:laugh:0 -

For 3 cups, it was 390 calories. So for one cup, it'd be 130 calories. I drank all three cups because I needed to meet my calories, I put in one 7 inch banana, a cup of strawberries and about an extra three just because, 8oz of low fat vanilla yogurt, and a cup of crushed ice.0 -

I have never, ever, ever been a smoothie drinker, but since joining MFP I have become a believer!!!
I made this one this morning (added my flax seed -another new one since MFP!) and boy was it yummy!!!
I cannot wait to start experimenting with different fruits!!
