Any suggestions on how to pick a good heart rate monitor? I'm going to start insanity and would like to see how many calories I burn. Thanks.

    I love my Polar FT7. It has a chest strap for more accuracy.

    It really depends on what sort of activity you do. I have done a lot of research later and have just ordered the Polar FT60, I will use this for strength training and cardio in the form of treadmill, spin bike and elliptical. When I run outside, I use mapmyrun app on my iPhone, so don't require a GPS function watch.
