Knees cracking since I started exercising!

Ok, I've been walking/jogging in earnest for about 2 & 1/2 weeks now, along with doing 30DS program (up to Level 1 Day 8, as I am not counting first two workouts that I did without using weights). A few days after I started 30DS, my knees started cracking everytime I walk up stairs. I am careful to do the exercises in the proper form. Should I be worried? Or taking a supplement to help my knees/joints?

Has this happened to anyone else? I did not have any knee issues before I started this DVD workout.

I wouldnt be too worried unless your starting to experience pain. A multi-vitamin may help with your joints. I would reccomend "Orange Triad" by controlled labs

My knees crackle alot too. I read another thread where someone recommended "Glucosimine, Chrondrotin and Omega-3 vitamins" so I plan on researching those. Can't remember who posted that to give him credit but hope that helps.

Well, it might be age related. I have been doing serious exercise (strength training etc) for about 8 years. My knees never made a single sound....until this year. It sounds like they need some WD40 in there! I am 46 and I really think it may partly be just a 40-something thing; as if we need ANOTHER 40-something thing!

You're right - we don't need another 40-something issue! I will try the glucosimine. I think I might have a bottle of that supplement somewhere, if it isn't expired that is.
