hello all girls! I am looking for some supporting female friends on MFP with similiar goals to me. :) I have already lost the weight I needed to (20 pounds) but now I am trying to maintain. I am finding it difficult now! :( I often flucuate from my lowest weight (113) to my goal weight (118) and it feels awful! Some weeks I get so low as 113 because I am exercising and really watching calories. Other days I just eat whatever I want and gain the weight back and feel fat and gross. I did not have to lose a lot of weight, and it's hard to find other people on here who only had a bit to lose. *I guess you would say people who are skinny fat lol* are there any other girls in college like myself just maintaining a small weight loss? I could use some encouragement and help!

here is my weight loss story:
I first began MFP weighing 134. I am 5"7', and I was unhappy at that weight because I was actually larger than my boyfriend. (He is my exact same height btw lol). So I joined this website to lose the weight! I only counted calories and did not exercise at all pretty much. I lost the weight by fall last year, and now I have just been keeping it off. normally I am SUPER physically active doing irish step dance, construction work (this is my job at school in the theatre department), and I'm just naturally hyper. This summer however, I had to get a desk job at a library which requires me to sit for 6 hours at a time. Not very active. I was walking for 1 hour every morning, but now my schedule has gotten so crazy that I can't do that anymore. I have gone back to just eating whatever I want because I am tired of feeling like I am starving myself, but I have put about 3 pounds back on (I'm 117). I need motivation and advice! how do you work in college and keep fit even with a crazy schedule?

Please add me girls!! :)

Congrats on reaching your goal weight!!! I am 26 and in grad school. I also feel that although I don't need to loose weight it's hard to eat healthy or within the calorie range for the day especially when I'm out with friends. Let's be friends and motivate each other. First tip: try signing up for a 5k race that way you have a reason to challenge yourself to maintain your exercise and diet goals and it's not a big time commitment since school should come first

thank you :) oh yes it definitely is. I am teaching at my church's vacation Bible school for kids, and every night they have some surgary snack (cookies, ice cream, etc) and i keep eating it every night! self restraint is hard when everyone else is eating it lol. i already added you as a friend :) i def. need the motivation! I don't know of any 5k around me, but I have a small goal similiar to that. by the time school starts back I want to be able to jog a mile at the track at my university :)

well thanks :) yeah i am right at my perfect BMI weight (18.5) when I am at 118, so I seem super thin for 5"7' but I am a really small boned girl! I have a tiny frame. and thanks for the add! if you don't mind me asking, have you already reached your ultimate goal or are you still trying to lose?
