    Verizon
  • I want the galaxy III !
    I have the Galaxy I S .

** BUT wait for it to be out for a while! I paid 650 for mine when it came out and it was discontinued 2 weeks later which meant no replacements/fixing for it!

and DO NOT go with rogers (if you have that option)
Nothing but problems with them for my ENTIRE contract.

Verizon. I'm in Smyrna, so relatively close to wherever you are, and I have great service.

    Depends where you live.
And whether you want good coverage in city or country areas. Or whether price is most important.
Or, maybe that's just in Australia.

Oops, just noticed that you are in Atlanta. I won't recommend Telstra then.

I had AT&T and the service was great but my bill seemed to run high every month. 100 bucks or above. So now I use Straight Talk. They use AT&Ts towers in my area (so I get the same service), I still get to use my Iphone 4, and I get unlimited talk text & data for 45 bucks per month.

If you're looking at a standard contract plan, Verizon would be the one to go with. It's got the best coverage, from what I've seen. But they're super expensive.

I go through Family Mobile, which is like Straight Talk, but through T-Mobile. So if you're in an area where AT&T or T-Mobile has good coverage you could have a decent phone (such as the Galaxy S III, I believe, but you would want to make sure it was one with a sim card).

But that's kind of lame to go through so many channels to have a cheap plan. It's what I'm doing, though.

I'm not so much a fan of Straight Talk's or Family Mobile's selection of phones—I want a more high-end smart phone. I'm trying to find a reasonably priced one that I'll port to the other plan.

Verizon, I've never had a dropped call yet. Just think they're kind of pricey, especially with the new plans that just came out.

I enjoy T Mobile but it does not have service as I get near the mountains. Since I live near mountains, this means there are times where I am in the boonies and I NEED emergency cellular service and it doesn't come through for me.

Verizon had some horrible customer service so we left them even though they had service in the boonies. =/

I have T-Mobile and they suck! I threatened to leave them to go to Verizon because their S3 is so expensive and they said they would give me a $190 rebate on it so I'd only be paying $130 for it. Sounds good huh? Then I asked if they could match Verizons share everything thing they got going on and you know what they did? They hung up on me! lol. Anyways, I would say go with Verizon.

It seems as the thought the more people i talk to; i have come to this conclusion. THEY ALL SUCK! Maybe in different ways buy they all suck. This is a corporate phone so I am not looking to go cheap. If money wasn't an issue, which phone with which service? Right now i am leaning T-mobile unlimited everything with the Galaxy S3

www.sensorly.com can really help. They maintain a user-contributed database of actual signal strengths from actual customers. I contribute regularly to their signal strength data for Verizon everywhere I go. My wife has an AT&T phone and has been working to get their coverage mapped out in our area as well.

If you have an Android phone, please consider downloading the app and helping build the database!

If you don't, it's still an incredibly useful site with decent data about which carrier is best in your area. Because "which carrier has the best coverage" is highly dependent on where you are located.
