    Don't stop counting the calories.

You won't gain back the weight.

Please ignore my profile pic to the left.

Born and Raised around North Manchester, Fort Wayne is not really Amish country. Nappannee is for sure. Now I am a TN man and love it here. Best wishes on your Journey.

    Hello there! I'm in Indy!

I joined up last week to turn my 'food life' around. Time to start taking care of myself and get some weight off!

Great to meet you! I'll add you to my friend's list, if that is ok.

PS was reading your "About me" I had two ferrets, awesome pets! I recommend a female though, they smell better.

It's funny to see Amish Country and then see your profile picture. BTW, I love Kat Von D also... sooo sexy. I am no where near Indiana, but I did see the movie Hoosiers :)

Thank you! My thoughts exactly! I live just south of nappanee, though my address is Leesburg. I drive around amish bikes and buggies EVERYTIME i get behind the wheel! We are full of amish!

Welcome back, and much success in your final, successful attempt!

I'm impressed you live in Amish country and don't weigh 500lbs. Sadly, to me Amish country is synonomous with homestyle cooking at Der Dutchman Restaurant.

Here's the good news....you're in your 40's and have a profile pic that attracts spammers. May I one day have such a problem in my life!

Wouldn't cats <and maybe dogs> have a high interest in ferrets as a play toy? My greyhounds would think they'd died and gone to heaven if a ferret showed up in my house!

Regarding the spammer comment....You never know in this day and age. I got spam from the weirdest places. But it's good to know that that type of thing doesn't happen on here.

Also hello to all of my Indiana neighbors!!!! I'm discovering things are different outside of The Region where I grew up....there is actually farm land and open spaces....and I also like the fact that I have a nice distance between my neighbors :)

I live south of Ft Wayne....near Berne....but it kept putting my city as some place south of Indy....decided to just put Fort Wayne to make it at least in the targeted area.

The first time I saw an Amish buggy I freaked out....I thought it was some kind of reenactment or something

I grew up Amish (and no I am NOT kidding) so I know all too well about Amish cooked meals and how someone coud get to 500lbs! I still cook that way its the only way I know how but am slowly learning about portion size and to leave the desserts alone. (Well at least most of the time)

What time is dinner at your house???? I'm half way there!!!

@cynful - Other ladies have noted they do get stalkers (not so much spammers) - annoying as they may be, at least it says you're looking so fine they can't begin to resist contacting you!

I've driven from Winchester to Decatur through Berne before, not sure it that counts, probably not. I grew up near Amish country in Ohio too.
