Are there any good quad workouts that you know of? And are they worth doing? I want to lose inches there, but I'm not sure if the inches will go once I lose the weight or if I should do weights to help it along.

    Ah, if only we can spot reduce.
    You will lose inches where your genetics determines to use up stored fat for fuel.

    That being said, if you are looking to improve leg strength with minimal increase muscle mass, can't go wrong with jogging (tears down muscle fibers), and air squats. Try doing a classic Crossfit benchmark: 4 rounds 400m run + 50 air squats (hip crease below the knee at the bottom of the squat). Real thigh burner. Repeat every month and check your time to look for improvement in performance.
