I would like to do a pull up by the end of the summer, does anyone know good exercises/programs that could help me do it?

P90X. It's a killer at first, but I have gradually built enough muscle to do a few!0

Working out with a suspension trainer was what did it for me. Google the Jungle Gym XT.0

Do a quick search, there was a good thread just last week about doing pull-ups. There are much better ways than P90x for doing pull-ups; don't confuse P90x as being a true strength-training routine.0

Do negative pull ups. Stand on a chair to get up to the bar & slowly lower yourself down. That's how I started.
