Feeling Hungry and Full at the SAME time??!!!

Recently I have been struggling with the 'feeling' of hunger. I am not really hungry... I know this because I am actually pretty full from the meal I just finished eating about 20 minutes ago. Being the curious and obsessive person that I am.... I just HAD to research just what in the world could be causing this... and this is what I found:
:drinker: THIRST disguised as hunger. Apparently the part of your body/brain that lets you know your thirsty is very very close and/or similar to the part that lets you know your hungry... so for those of us who have a significant amount of weight to lose these signals are rather confusing and leads us to the so called feeling of hunger... even when we are soooo not needing to stuff yet another bite of something in our mouth.... The problem is that simply drinking water does not always make the hungry feeling go away so try sprucing your water up knotch!
A very popular way of doing this is the little MIO favor drops that you add to plain water. I have tried this and it does work... plus you can carry this around in your purse/pocket so when you are eating out you have a quick way to flavorful drinks. My Favorite way is to go to COSTCO and buy a case of VitaRain zero calorie flavored water... you get a case of 24 for less than $10. For a less expensive way to savor a more flavorful glass of water turn to the 'old' standbys of lemon/lim/orange juice to add a bit of flavor... HINT: add a bit of lemon/lime/orange zest to the bottom of your glass before adding ice then add your water and fresh juice and the flavor will be just a bit brighter.
Since a part of this strange hungry feeling is psychological the addition of flavor to the water makes it seem less like a chore to drink and more like a treat... this helps satisfy your body's need for water and your brain's need for a flavorful treat...
