I'm new to this whole "count your calorie" movement. I've have never been one to do that. I love my food too much. I had a salad off of the salad bar at a local eatery & have no idea how to log it. I have the classic blend of iceberg, romaine and some other red leaf (no raddichio), plus some spinach, cucumbers, hardboiled egg, chic peas, grape tomatoes, a little bacon & lite ranch dressing. It was a large salad, but I have no idea how to log it in. Suggestions??

Guesstimation is your best option, I suppose.
How big was the serving spoon for the bacon/dressing/chickpeas? How many scoops did you put on your salad? How many slices of boiled eggs? Enough to make a whole one?
Take a measuring spoon if you have one at home, get the TBSP one, keep filling it with water and pour into a container until it looks about the same amount of dressing you remember using for your salad. Use the amount of TBSPs as your measurement.

When I first started, I took a measuring cup and a tablespoon in my purse and measured stuff onto my plate!0
