At 19lbs lost and I feel discouraged and more fatter than I did in the beginning just because I'm thinking how much there is still to do. Does anyone else feel this way sometimes?

I do ...I always feel like why did let myself get this big. I'm anxious to lose. At the same time I have to think that it is a life style change. Something I will have to monitor and keep up for life, in order to be healthy and have a long life.0

I completely understand. When the goals were first set for myself and my boyfriend and I realized that my "goal weight" according to the BMI was over 100 lbs less than what I was, I thought for sure I'd never be able to reach that. To counter it, I'm not looking at the finish line anymore. I'm looking at smaller goals and it gives me a greater sense of accomplishment (i.e. every pants size lost, every 5 pounds lost).
My recommendation, stop looking at the finish line in the distance and focus on the smaller things.0 -

me. All the time. But just look at the bright side (the right one) we used to be farther from that goal before, even if it is after losing 1 pound.0

Ignorance was bliss and now we strive for perfection it is natural to see more flaws despite our hard work.
You have to try and remind yourself how far you have come as well as focus on the task of losing weight. You need to do both.0
