IF is all well and good. Just make sure you're still eating enough; the main benefit is the time frame where your body switches to sourcing most of it's energy requirements from fats rather than other sources.

    Yep.

The fasting evey other day thing sounds great on paper (actually is sounds terrible) but in reality isn't going to work for the vast vast majorly of people.

Fasting is simply another way of arranging your meals. A bad diet condensed from 5 meal per day into 1 is still a bad diet.

If it fits your Lifestyle go ahead, but if you think it's going to give you some big metabolic advantage you will be disappointed.

And you cannot seriously be using that study to back up any argument.

I am using the study because it is proven. I can say for certain that anyone who only eats every other day is going to lose weight. It would be impossible not to. Without any insulin spike for 24 hours the body will go after fat reserves to burn it for energy. So their actually is a metabolic advantage. Imagine consuming 25,000 calories on one day but then fasting for three days. What would happen you would still lose weight because the hormones do no allow you to not lose your stored fat. Everyone thinks its all about calories but that is not the case. It is also about hormones.

I would kill someone! Heck, I threaten to kill people by lunch if I haven't eaten.
