Hi everyone! I moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma from Alabama a little over a year ago now for my job without knowing anyone or really anything about the area.

Just wanted to see how many Oklahomans there are on MFP and wanted to know if anyone wanted to be friends!! I'd like to think most of my MFP friends would consider me motivational and supportive!!

Some things I've noticed about Oklahoma that are different than Alabama:
1) signs on the interstates that say "Do not drive into smoke"
2) turnpikes
3) it is WAY hotter here
4) casino's. we have ONE in Alabama and the only reason is because it's on an Indian reservation
5) Coke/soda/pop is called "pop" here more than "soda" or "coke"
