So, I've been told by numerous people throughout the years that I have a rather expansive vocabulary. I love words... So, I thought it might be fun to start a thread and share some of our favorite words. I'll get us started:
1. Matriculate
2. Impale
3. Infarction -just fun to say....

Here are a few of my favorite words:
Adhedonic - Characterized by the absence of pleasure or the inability to experience it
Perscipacity - Acuteness of perception, discernment, or understanding
Tumescent - Swollen
And a good one for this site with simple Latin roots:
Postprandial - After lunch
I'll stop by and drop a few more if they come to mind. Cheers.

I SO thought this was going in another direction. I read "lengua", which is tongue in Spanish. Not that there's anything wrong with a thorough grasp of the English language, but I was looking forward to learning more about the benefits of an expansive lengua.
