What's your hip measurement & what jeans size do you wear?

I'm curious as to in the end of my weight loss journey what size I might possibly be after I lose all the weight I want. My actual hip bone is like 35.5" but the wides part around (saddle bag area) is 40.5". I'm a loose 10 or tight 8 right now and wasn't sure how small I could even go?... I'm 5'6" and Med frame pear shape.

What is your hip size and what size jeans do you wear?

    ~39 here and I can shimmy into some 6's and some 8's are a little large. Can't wear all 6's.

    I'm wayyyy pear-shaped. My waist is 28" D:

    I'm a 41 right now (down from a 51+), and I can fit into any size 10. As a matter of fact, I bought a pair of capri jeans on Saturday without even trying them on! I've never done that before! I haven't even thought to try on 8's yet. Some 10's fit well, and some gap at the waist, being that I too am pear shaped. Waist is 30/31.

    Just buy whatever jeans look good on you. My 20yr old daughter is wearing my (too big!) 4/6p pants and she looks awesome b/c of her hourglass figure. She's your height.

    I'm 36-28-35 and wear a size 6 . . . I'm only 5'3 so I would like to get into a 4 but I don't want to lose the junk in the trunk. . . So we will see . . .

    The biggest part of my hips are 41 inches and I wear a size 11. it sucks though because my waist is 30 :( Why cant it all be 30?!) lol, stupid love handles.

    33" hips. Mostly 2's and some 4's are the best fitting.

    Wow! ok thanks! I'm aiming for a 4/6....would I have to take two inches off each thigh to do that?

    35.5" at the widest point and a little less than that at hip bone level. 29" at waist. 18.5" thighs. Size depends on brand and cut. I usually wear a 4 or sometimes a 2 if the jeans fit at my navel or lower. Higher rise usually means a larger size (and a baggy seat and thighs) because of my relatively thick waist.

    About 37.5" or 38" and I generally wear a size 6.
