Why Do I Love MFP?

Hey everybody! I have been using this website for a little over 4 months and there are no adequate words to describe why I love it so much. I thought it would be a good idea if people listed some of the reasons why they enjoy using MFP . Since I am starting this thread, I may as well get the ball rolling:
1) Accountability: I failed miserably in the past when it came to health and fitness because I never held myself accountable when it came to what foods I ate or how much time I exercises.
2) Information: I have learned so much valuable information over the last few months thanks to answers given to me by fellow MFP friends and members as well as looking through the message boards.
3) MFP Support/Friendship: My favorite reason of all! I have made so many wonderful friends here over the last 4 months and they are all extraordinary human beings. I love all the support that I receive from them as well as giving them support. I love messaging people about various subjects, whether fitness-related or not. I love being able to be myself and being embraced for that reason. I love that though we are all vastly different (different locations, races, ages, sexual orientations, etc..), we have all come together for one purpose: to lead a healthier lives. To all of my MFP friends, you are truly some of the greatest people I have ever met and I love you guys

Well Frans, you basically said everything I would say myself! I joined in '08, but until last year I think I posted on the forums once. I just logged on to track my food and that was it. Last year I started expanding my horizons here and started making friends and reading the forums. Thanks to the information I've learned from the boards, and my friends here, I eat to help myself meet my goals. I put thought into the types of foods I'm going to eat every day. I'm not just eating to meet a calorie goal. I'm increasing my weights so I can be strong! The friends I've made here are awesome, and I'm glad that you and I are friends now , too! Thanks for being genuine, Frans!0
