Thinking about adding a snack of nuts and dried fruit to my day and I'm wondering if anyone has advice on a tasty, yet healthy nut? They've never really been my thing, so I'm kinda uninformed, but I wanted to try it out!
Thanks all!!!
Thanks all!!!

Personally, I like almonds - very good for lowering cholesterol. Apparently you only need about 5 to do the trick and they're meant to be good for stress relief too (always top of my list!) Walnuts are also good for heart health.0

They're all pretty similar macro-wise so just pick the ones you like the most. I like peanuts and almonds, personally. Great healthy snack.0

Hey lets keep it healthy now haha (Thinking about my wife's candied pecans now...)
I like nut mixes myself, pecans, almonds, walnuts, macadamia nuts etc.
Just remember they are calorie dense so if you are dealing with hunger, nuts are a bad snack as they arent filling compared to their calories.0 -
Almonds, and they're getting so popular there are lots of varieties these days. There's a habanero almond that's fantastic - still low in salt and sugar. Love 'em, but you have to weight them - only an ounce a day. Lots of calories.0

Ok, I'm not even going there............
I like almonds and cashews. I eat one of those nuts every day.0 -
Hazelnuts. I buy 10 lb bags for $53.0

Thanks for all the great advice guys!0

I used to just eat almonds with the occasional addition of walnuts. Now I eat a much larger variety.
I usually buy a largish packet of roasted, unsalted mixed nuts which has brazil, macadamia, cashew, walnuts, almonds. I also have on hand a packet of walnut and almonds that I usually mix up and alternate between the two mixes.
Every now and again I'll buy a small packet of something different - hazelnuts, pistachios. I use pine nuts in cooking occasionally.0 -
Almonds! Love 'em to death. Pecans, walnuts, and cashews are all pretty great too.0

Great Title!
I would say almonds or walnuts. Personally I just buy bulk mixed.0 -
Macadamias -- high monounsaturated fat and palmitoleic acid (which may up your metabolism). I just like em cause they taste good (especially in cookies).
I but macadamia, cashews, pecans and pistachios. I don't care for the rest. A good site to get raw (not roasted or salted to wreck the flavor) is http://nuts.com/nuts/0 -
I'm going to go with my neighbor, I just don't know what to think about him sometimes....
Oh.
I like almonds. (The dark cocoa covered ones are on my fave list right now)0 -
I love macadamia nuts. Almonds are good too, they gotta be flavored though, dark chocolate mint.0

Also helps that you can't chuck them all in your mouth in one go, but you have to get the nuts out on by one .0
