Yep!
At lower body fat and weight youll need to look at using a smaller deficit from your TDEE.
Try 10-15% below.
So if you burn 2500cals a day, youll be eating about 2100-2200 a day.
Easy right?
Reason being is leaner people have less leptin.
Less leptin means less fat is being used for fuel when its needed.
Youll also want to focus mostly on lifting heavy weights and walking on off days to preserve lean mass.

Hey! I'm your friend on here and I saw your post. When I started MFP I had about 20 lbs to lose. My highest was 172 and when I started here I was around 158. So far I have lost 15 lbs and have 5 more to go. The best advice I can give is that the healthy way to do it is a slow steady process. You will plateau but your body will eventually thank you if you do it the right way!0

i had a good 15 to lose, my final goal is to lose 18. It has been a very long process, 9 months and i just hit the 15 lb mark! In the beginning i was exercising 6 days a week, 1 hr per day and eating healthy, cut out lots and logged everything. I bought a hrm and a scale and weighted all my food. I was losing but it wasn't much, i now have stopped planned exercises and am focusing on just cals and i am losing more faster in the last 2 months then i did in 5 month together... i still go for at least a 30 min walk daily, some times 2 but that's the extent of exercise for me right now. I am looking soft and will tone up once i hit my goal. I am 5 ft 2 inches and started at 140-142 and now am 124.8 i went from a steady size 9 sometimes a 11 down to a 4 and 6... the odd 7. so i am quite pleased finally where i am...0
