    I would say DON'T.

Crossfit is mainly for people that are super elite athletes -- in other words, people that are are already very strong and competive and often push their bodies to the point of injury and beyond.

While Crossfit gyms claim they can scale down the workouts so anyone can do it, that usually isn't the case.

Compared to what you would pay at other gyms, Crossfit is overpriced

You started Supreme 90, finish it! It's an intense program that doesn't need anything extra....adding more will more than likely hinder your progress. After the 90 days, you can decide what to do next.

This is my honest opinion. I did it for more than 6 months. I left my regular trainer at the gym (he measured me before I left), and did crossfit 3X a week. After 6 months, I got frustrated because I still couldn't keep up with people in the WODs, and when I returned to my regular trainer I actually gained some inches and fat. I agree that its more for the elite type athletes, and especially helpful if you can already do pull ups before you start.

I have now been doing New Rules of Lifting for women with my trainer for about 3 months, have lost 3% body fat, and my strength has increased a ton!

I am inbetween workouts and have been trying to decide which to do crossfit or join a gym... I tried 2 different crossfits, the first I didn't like at all, they were more ju jitsu(sp?) oriented, plus I don't think I really liked the people.

so I went and tried another one, and I really like this one, they can tailor the workouts for you, you just need to speak up. And if they don't or won't listen then try the next place. But I am older and I liked it. It is intense and they will push you, you just have to know your own body's limits. You still have to get out of bed in the morning!! you will be sore within the first 36 hours, but if you use a foam roller which helps you won't be as bad.

Try it they usually will let you do a one time free or 1 week free, just ask them.

I think it depends on the person. I did a trial week at a Crossfit gym near me and I loved it, but it's not in my price range at the moment. The gym I was at seemed to have excellent trainers who really did make the effort to scale for me and others in the class. I'm not sure about mixing with Supreme 90, since I've never done it, but if you're interested, try a free class at a Crossfit gym near you and see how you like it.

I did crossfit-type of stuff when I was very fit (and before it became fashionable). Now I'm not so fit (just got back into training 5 weeks ago) and, personally, no way I'll do that right now! :noway:

I'll give myself another good 3 months of strength training and general fitness improvement with HIIT etc before I'll start dabbling with crossfit again.

Really want to try it out but think its best if I wait until the end of my 90 day workout, just trying to add something different to my current workout :)
