wheat free and carb loading

Im reading wheat belly right now and plan to give going wheat free a try - the month of July.

My question... is anyone wheat free and a long distance runner? If so do you have a problem with energy for your runs?

I have a half and a full marathon sheduled in the fall and will be cranking up my running in the months to come. I cant seem to find anything on it...

  • I just read "Wheat Belly" too and I've been on it for the past 6 days. I actually have lost 3 pounds so far.

    While I'm no long distance runner, I do go for a run a couple times a week, and I went a couple days ago. I felt sooooooo much better running, as though I was lighter and could run forever. There was no problem with energy there.

    I'd say just give it a try and see what happens for yourself :happy:
