So, as a broke college student with a 2x4 kitchen and no time or cooking skills, eating healthily can become a pain. Which is why I've resorted to the same simple meals over and over again for the past month and half. And it's good! It works for me.

But I'm going home for winter break for two full weeks and I have the pleasure of having a family that loves cooking, so I am in need of some (good) low calorie recipes for my mother to cook for me while I'm there.

Any recipe is welcome. Not just meals but also snacks and drinks and desserts and dressings (dressing recipes would be awesome because I can bottle them and bring them back with me when I leave, especially since we don't have many good bottled dressings in my country.)

So anything you want to share is appreciated. I eat mostly everything (except liver and raw onion) and am willing to try new and exotic things so I'd love to see what you guys have to share!

Thank you

xx

Anything on this site rocks! If you like meat, just substitute chicke for tofu or seitan and ground beef for tempeh:

I highly recommend the General's tofu (my fave with chicken instead of tofu) and the Seitan (substitute chicken) and broccoli in peanut sauce

For your easy to prepare everyday life the BBQ tempeh and peppers is easy and great over rice.

    Hope this helps.
