I have heard of so many people who later in life change careers or supplement their income be becoming a fitness trainer, class instrucor, etc. Does anyone know how this is done? College classes? State certification?
Thanks

There are a number of programs. ACE and AFAA are most widely recognized, and you can do both of those through self-study and then taking the exam. If you have ever taken Zumba and like it, becoming a licensed a Zumba instructor is a much easier process, it's just a license to teach Zumba, but that doesn't make you a group X instructor or personal trainer. I started with Zumba and I'm now working on my group X cert through ACE. Good luck!0
