Too much fiber and protein

I thought we were supposed to get as much fiber as possible? Protein I think I understand, but please enlighten me on how much is too much of either

I hear different things on the fiber but you can always select fiber on one of the things you want to track on your food diary and it will tell you how many grams they have set for you for the day.0

Going over the default counts that MFP gives you for protein and fiber is not something to be concerned about.0 -

If you go way over with fibre but don't drink enough, you can, bizarrely, become constipated!0

Having too much fiber makes it harder for your body to absorb magnesium, zinc, calcium, and iron.0

A lot depends on your medical history, etc. IF you are working out and body building, then you would need more protein, but if you have medical issues with your kidneys, etc then you need the directions of your physician or nutritionist.

for women in my age group (40ish), the recommended fiber intake is about 25g/day. I successfully eat more than that, but I also drink a lot of fluids.
