Why am I not losing weight faster

I have been dieting for about 2 months now. I initially lost 8lbs but haven't lost for a few weeks. I'm not sure why since I am exercising regularly and eating much healthier. My husband is making comments to me like what are you sneaking snacks late at night or eating junk during the day? I'm not doing either. I'm drinking the 8 glasses of water daily. I haven't gained any weight I'm just at a stand still.

You may need to up the intensity of your workouts. For example I often see folks complaining of not losing weight, but you look at their workouts and they are walking at 2mph. Just strolling along, really.

If one can't see the diary, we all cannot give you advise on calories/fat/carbs...etc.
There are a million scenarios and opinions out here, it's just finding the thing that works for you.

My Cardiologist told me to expect weeks where I didn't lose weight. Before I joined this site, I lost 17 pounds. At first, it came off much faster, but now it is coming off a bit slower. I am happy with slow and steady because slow and steady usually means that you will keep it off. As long as you are being completely honest with what you are logging, it could just be a plateau. You did lose 8 pounds before getting on the site. I personally don't "eat" the calories that I burn when I exercise, but I just started doing that, so I am not sure how that theory is going to work to see if that will increase my weight loss. I know this site tends to just add the calories you burn into your daily calorie allotted intake. Keep trying, keep positive, and keep being honest with your food and exercise input! :)

If you want advice you need to make your diary public!

Plateaus are common. I have a week once a month when I lose nothing, then the next I'll lose 2-4 pounds. Opening your diary would help with suggestions.

Be sure you are doing measurements as well.
Open diary if you want food/exercise advice....could be too much carbs/fats, too little food/calories
Keep you exercise varied so you train various muscles.
    Avoid processed foods (salt)

This. If you're eating right and taking in a sufficient amount of carbs, proteins and fats, you may just need to intensify your workouts.

Are you just going by the scale? Maybe you've built some muscle? (trying to pull reasons out of thin air is difficult) Have you taken any pics so that you might be able to see what the scale isn't telling you?
