Carbon and synthetic matter everywhere

What do I do?? Everywhere I turn there is carbon and synthetic matter. I cant go to the gym without carbon based life form using my treadmill. Today at work I spent all day banging on synthetic matter. How am I supposed to live my life constantly surrounded by carbon and synthetic matter?
