TDEE & CALORIES QUESTION....

hi

i just calculated my BMR which is 1433....and my TDEE is 2222

but as of this week i have started eating around 1200 calories....iused to eat around 900 sometimes less
to loose weight and fat how many calories should i be eating a day?
I also excersise for an a hour to an hour and a half a day doing a brisk walk and one of jillian michaels workouts

Please help/suggest me in the direction to go, i am more focused on loosing inches :)

    You want to eat your recommended calories per MFP, so if you are 1400 then you eat that. It should outline your fat, carbs, ect. allowance for the day...bottom in green or red in the case that you have went over the amounts. Upon entering your exercise, it will adjust making for a net in calories and food/exercise. Many people eat their exercise calories, many do not...making for weight loss. Bottom line is you need to eat your BMR and all "good" nutritious foods...in order to lose weight. I started losing inches and have slowed on weight loss.

    You don't want to eat below BMR.

    You also want to eat back your exercise calories.

    A good goal for your would be to NET 1700(500 deficit from TDEE).

    A good rule of thumb if you want to lose weight slowly is take your TDEE and deduct 15%. That's what you want to eat.

    Or just eat your BMR and not your exercise calories. I just started that method and it's working well for me.

    And that TDEE seems high for walking and Jullian.
