artificial sweeteners usually have calories

Beware of powdered artificial sweeteners. They have about 2/3 the amount of calories of regular sugar. The only ones that dont are the liquid versions. If you need to use them you might as well just use sugar.

    I think you mean splenda. It has about 3.8cal per packet. Anything under 5 calories can be legally listed on nutritional information labels as 0 calories per serving. Splenda is specifically portion controlled to meet that limitation. Its devious.

    because they use aspartame in liquid form.

    Any powdered artificial sweetener has calories because of the fillers they use to keep the granulars from sticking together. They package them in small envelopes so they can legally list it as 0 calories but they really do have calories.
