Hormonal Migraines

Anyone else deal with these, or migraines period? Has it affected your weight loss?

Since I've been logging my food, I'm noticing a pattern in my appetite. Right before a migraine hits, my appetite dwindles slowly down to nothing, then once it's over my appetite returns to normal. I've never really noticed this before. Now that I'm trying to lose weight, I hope it doesn't hinder my progress.

My migraines have nothing to do with weight loss or exercise. I started getting these migraines when I started getting my period, and exercise and diet does not affect it in a good or bad way. If I can catch them, Motrin and a little caffeine will help, but it's rare that I can catch them in time.

    I get hormonal migraines.

My problem was the swing right before the migraine where I could literally eat a horse. And all its food. And ask for dessert.

I've had bariatric surgery so I'm not sure how that's going to affect all the hormonal stuff yet (I'm only a month out).

Like you it has never had anything to do with stress or food triggers or anything. It's strictly hormonal. As long as your PMS cycle doesn't include wanting to binge on Doritos I think you'll be fine. :)
