Good or bad idea to consume the lowest calories during dinner time?

One of my friends here on MFP told me to eat the most calories for breakfast, less for lunch and even less for dinner.
I do the opposite for the most part. My breakfast and lunch are about the same, my dinner is usually low in calories (I do sometimes have a smoothie, when I don't feel like cooking anything at the end of the day!) and I snack in between. I think my snacks make up the most of my calories.0 -
I'm actually gonna start doing this on Sunday... I've heard it works and I hit a plateau recently. Crossin' my fingers...0

Yes, the best way is to taper your calories during the day. But, I do the opposite on weekends because I eat at restaurants on weekends. No matter how light my restaurant meals are, they will still average from 700 to 1000 calories.0
