In one month I lost 15 pounds! I don't really notice a difference, but everyone else tells me they can see I've lost weight. I've just been working out on the treadmill 5 times a week and doing crunches at home. I've also been eating extremely healthy. I have smoothies for breakfast and lunch, snacks of either fruit or all natural granola bars for snacks, and meat and vegetables for dinner. :)

I lost about 20 pounds in 5 weeks by following Bob Harper's book The Skinny Rules. I don't do a lot of exercise but I usually walk for at least 40 minutes a day and I have a cross trainer which I try to use at least 3 times a week.

For a healthy weight loss you shouldn't lose more than 2 lbs/week, unless you have a lot to lose. That would be about 8 lbs in a month .... that would maybe mean a size down, and the results wouldn't be too noticeable for most people.

Don't look for that quick fix, this is a lifestyle change, there are no magic fixes.

248-228.6 from Dec. 13 to Jan. 12- 19.4 lbs. the first month by not drinking Mike's Hardrer lemonade, drinking 80 oz. of water daily, cutting out fast foods, and staying within my calorie goals for two pounds a week and walking for 60-90 minutes a day, 5 days a week with another day for lifting.

And, that included three pot luck lunch/dinners which had to be planned for and additional exercise planned to accommodate. It's probably NOT going to happen for you because you at nowhere near as overweight as I was, but it can happen.

I've lost 16lbs in a month but as I have so much to loose I cant really tell any difference. I have been eating uber healthy and sticking to 1200 cals per day. Good luck

I lost 20 lbs in a month. Mainly because I was just drinking water, tried to eliminate fast food, eating about 1200 cals, walking at least 30 mins in the morning, walk again at work about 15-30 mins, eating a snack between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner. Try to eat low cal foods and there is plenty out there. I would do Jillean Michaels 30 Day Shred, Tae Bo, and online zumba on YouTube. I lost a lot because I have a lot to lose, but it stills feels great. Now, I am going to the gym three days out of the week. My favorite machine is the stationary bike. It really helps my legs, but mostly is targeting those horrendous thighs that I have that rub together. I stay on for about an hour or more. I do aerobics and zumba sessions at the gym.

Some of my favorite meals were:

Homemade squash casserole, chicken rollatini rolled with zucchini from skinnytaste.com (Deliciousssssssssssssssssss), homemade turkey burgers with lots of veges.

    Snacks:

-Lightly salted rice cakes with 1 spoon of nutella (I now have gotten to the point that I don't use the nutella)
-Special K Protein Bars (They really fill me up)
-1 Graham cracker (has four squares anyway)
    -Fruit
-Quaker rice minis (delicious because you can have 13 of these)

You can add me if you want to view my diary. I hope this helps. I don't want to post any pics until I reach my birthday in October so I can see some major changes. But always take beginning pics to compare and contrast and measure yourself, because when my scale is not moving (which is a lot), I'm usually going down in inches from my waist, hips, and thighs.

It really depends on how much you have to lose and what you're doing to get there.

I lost 10 lbs in a month but I see a HUGE difference because I've been eating fairly healthy (booted liquid calories like soda and Dunkin Donuts flavored coffees--drink nothing but water, sometimes unsweet tea or a V8 energy drink, stopped eating fast food) and I've also been working out every single day. I've been doing Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred (on day 21 tonight, level 3 day 1) and have been walking.

I'm actually a healthy weight but i'm not comfy at this weight so want to lose 14pounds. I'm 5'8 and weigh 147pounds.
I plan to eat really clean and I have the 30ds dvd so may start that. I have the time to really work at it now i'm off uni.
