barbell glute bridge

Anyone do this exercise? Do you feel any benefits from doing it? Im doing it for first time tomorrow

    I've read that there are a lot of benefits to doing it to be honest. I've never done it though. It's a good supporting exercise if you're looking to increase squat and DL strength.

    If you mean barbell hip thrust........ then Yep, been doing them every week for the last month or so on advice from my chiropractor, up to 100kg for sets of 5.

    Lower back feels better for it and already seeing improved pulling strength on the deadlfit.....great exercise.

    Bret Contreras has tons of articles about it.

    I used it the other day and really felt it the day after. Hopefully it will have a positive impact on my deadlifts and squats

    Yup, the Glue Bridge / Hip Thrust is very good for the posterior chain.

    Bridges I've done, never occurred to me to use a barbell while doing it. :laugh:

    Definitely gonna add this into my routine.

    you can find a video of dana linn bailey doing it online. i'd say it works
