Dancing To Lose.........Weight

Alot of people tell me that dancing is a simple way to burn calories, because you can burn alot of caloires quickly and you are working out you whole body also. I would like to know what are some dance moves that you have found helpful and if dances have help you in any way.

    I took up pole dancing about 1.5 years ago, and it's been fantastic for my body composition. You sweat a lot, build muscle (I put on 8 pounds in 1 year of doing only pole, no other resistance training), and get more balanced/coordinated.

    A lot of people like Zumba, too, but it would provide more cardio whereas pole provides more of a strength workout.

    at one time...i would just turn on the music and move...that helped i lost 25 pounds without really thinking about it...

    i also do dance exercise dvds...with latin and club dancing...fun, fun, fun....

    enjoy....
