When to do it..??

When would it be better to hop on the scale? When you wake in the morning, or evening? Or no difference???

    I don't think it matters as long as you do it at the same time each time you weigh.

    I like to do it first thing on a morning before you had any food/liquids etc. I think if you do it later in the day it can fluctuate too much depending on what meals you have eaten etc ( or at least it does for me lol).

    I Weigh myself everyone morning since starting my journey and I record my weight once a week. Seems to work for me.

    Most people weigh in the morning, after going to the bathroom. The thinking being, you don't have anything left from the night/day before.

    I weigh myself on Saturday mornings only, just after I wake up.
    I tend to freak out too much over the little daily fluctuations if I weight myself more often than once a week.
  • Monday 4:30 am...get up, go to the bathroom, brush teeth, weigh in time! :bigsmile:
  • First thing in the morning...Every Monday :)

    You should do it first thing in the morning, after you wake up and take a leak.

    If you do it in the evening, it will fluctuate depending on what foods you ate during the day, how much, and how much fluid you drank. Your body settles itself over night so the results are more consistent.

    As long as you consistently do it at the same time I dont think it matters. I weigh about 2-3 lbs more at night so I always take my morning weight.
