It's kind of a misleading list, as no specific food will burn fat, per se. You can eat hot peppers washed down with a gallon of green tea and you won't be blasting the fat away. A lot of the foods listed say "build muscle" because yes, that is what proteins do (eggs, meats).

It is a good list of different foods you may want to rotate into your daily eating habits, so long as no one thinks that any one food will burn fat off faster. The best way to burn fat is to strengthen those muscles via strength training exercises.

One thing, for those of you who are a bit confused, these foods aren't going actually increase your muscle mass or anything. You need to lift weights and follow a good program to be able to build muscle mass and strength, these foods will help in the repairing process after you have torn your muscles after said workouts.

This isn't kind of misleading it's totally misleading. First, foods don't burn fat!! Some foods are more thermogenic than others but that doesn't mean they burn fat??!!!! Exercise and activity in a calorie deficit burns fat. Nice list of healthy food but just eating these foods isn't going to build muscle and burn fat in the absence of resistance training and a calorie deficit!!

ETA: If this list were true, we could just eat ourselve into our idea weight and physical condition!

Try Ruby Red Grapefruit, that is a little less bitter.

IF you really want to try to add grapefruit to your repertoire, start with the Ruby Red; w/o eating the membranes. IF that is still too bitter, then add a little brown sugar. Decrease the brown sugar- still not eating the membranes. I think if you try it you're enjoy it. I eat alot in the winter to help keep my Vitamin C up!! :~D

    Thanks for this post!!
