Trader Joes Mint Ice Cream Mouthfuls

Oh. Em. Gee. These are sooo good, and not too many cals! Ben and Jerrys Mint Chocolate Cookie ice cream has been my downfall for years-before i started healthy eating (oh god, i hate admitting this, but eff it), i used to go through two pints a day most days. Cookies n cream is still one of my favorite flavors. Today i was in TJ's getting my trusty Soy Chorizo, when i decided to check the frozen section, and saw these Mint Ice Cream Mouthfuls. Chocolate oreo-like cookies with mint ice cream filling. Bought a box, brought em home, and just had a couple, and theyre DELICIOUS. The best part tho, is its 120 cals for TWO sandwhiches, and theyre decent size. I had enough cals tonight to eat 4, but i ound that two was plenty, theyre nice and sweet and chocolatey and satisfying. I had to oublecheck the box to make sure i read the cals right, lol.

Anyone tried these, or have a fave lowcal dessert that doesnt taste lowcal and is a decent portion size for the calories? These are called mouthfuls, but i needed three bites to finish one-theyre not tiny.

    Have you ever tried Arctic Zero ice cream? I dont think they sell it at trader joes but they sell it at health food stores. Its only 150 calories for a whole pint. They taste pretty good and since they put whey protein in it, you get some extra protein :)

    Dairy Queen has these vanilla orange bars that are only 60 calories each! They are fat-free but so creamy and delicious, I love them!

    Haven't tried those but will look for them on my next trek through TJs! My hubby doesn't do dairy, and the kid won't eat mint (I know, she's crazy!) - so the whole box would be mine! Very dangerous! :tongue:

    What is in these things? I'd rather eat half a cup of something where I can pronounce the ingredients than a quart of something that I can't.

    Fry's (Kroger) carries it. Yummy.
